Football Season

It's finally football season again (that is Australian Rules Football season), which means we have left boring season behind us here in Melbourne. We took the entire family to St. Kilda's first game of the year. It was exciting match with St. Kilda winning by 1 point in the final minute and beating our least favourite team, the Collingwood Magpies.
We loved the Saints' cheering section with their enormous pom poms.
This is the team captain, Nick Reiwoldt (on the left). We don't think that he would be able to eat at the Yarrawonga and Border Golf Club, do you?

Cute pict of the boys...

Chad LOVES Australian Football. He saw it on some sports channel a while ago and is addicted. I enjoy it as well. I will let him know you went to a real game.

I talked to your momma just 5 minutes ago---Bummer that you are having to unpack and readjust to living there for another 3 or so months. It's hard to have something sprung on you like that. Hopefully it will all work out in June and you can get a bit closer to home.

I only say this because I care-- I don't think you can comment on any sporting activity for about 14 and a half years after the bed the Badgers crapped against Cornell. As a fellow Big 10 supporter, this was an absolute atrocity. Cornell. Cornell? You may need to wait another year Down Under to get that stink off of you. With displays like that you might end up having cousins start to sing praises of Duke or some other crime against nature. What is this world coming to?!

Hope you're enjoying the sweet rugby trousers and autumn time there. We look forward to having you back on this continent one of these days. Cornell..... I guess they at least kept it within 20.... Cornell....
