Melbourne - A Whirlwind tour

What do you do when you have guests come from overseas and they need to stay awake for 12 plus hours, when all they want to do is sleep! To start you introduce them to four attention seeking children who insist on showing off all of their treasures acquired here in Australia.
You take them to the Queen Victoria Market and let them buy souvenirs and goodies (including an outback hat) to help exceed their luggage weight allowance.

You take them to the top of Rialto Tower (well really just to John's offices on the 52nd floor).

You drive them to Brighton Beach for views of downtown and the world famous bath houses.

You take them to our awesome apartment to watch the game of the day - cricket during the summer months and Australian rules football during winter months.

You take them to the Beach Park to sit and watch the children play and you enjoy the sunshine.
And finally, you end the day watching a fantastic sunset back at the apartment.

You do all that and much much more. You hold those sweet little kids as much as they will let you and you listen to everything they have to tell you. You smile and laugh, and enjoy every minute because the time with them is so short. You play ball, and cars, and hide and seek, and you watch out the window because everything changes every day like the bill board that changed from a flat old billboard to a green flower garden, hanging plants and trees on the top. Life is indeed a highway and we are lucky enough to travel with you on yours.
