We headed to Healesville Sanctuary for our first weekend to get a look at all of the native animals in Australia. It was a great day, very dry and warm as well. We saw many animals, including lots of birds. The kids are in one of the bird areas, they are fascinated by the birds on the ground, while John is fascinated by the ones in the trees.

Loved the animal quiz, the only one we didn't recognize was the one in the middle with the red jacket, it looked like an awfully wild animal though (ha ha!) I showed my boys your blog today. They really enjoyed seeing their friends again.
A little bit of grandchildren = a lot of love from grandma. Save some sightseeing for me. Can't wait to come and visit.
